Embed Formulas, Images, Links or PDFs to your questions

A great way to add more value to your questions or comments is by adding some pictures or linking the question to another website or document.

You can do so by clicking on the specific button when inserting a comment/question. Here we explain how to add the following:

Embed Images

You can embed a picture in a question or comment by uploading it from your computer or using a URL. Follow these steps to do so:

  1. In "My Content", select the video you would like to edit
  2. Click the blue "Edit" button at the top of the video
  3. Click on the "Question" button at the top-right of the editing page (you will see it turns green once you click it)
  4. A new question button will appear at the timeline of the video. Click to add a new question
  5. Choose what kind of question you would like to insert by selecting: Open Ended Question, Multiple Choice Question, or Comment.
  6. Select the image button above the text area and a pop-up will open
  7. Decide if you want to upload your own picture or use one from the Internet
  8. Set a title and a size
  9. Press "OK". Now you can continue editing the question!

Embed Formulas

You can embed a formula in a question or comment using the Code Cogs equation editor, follow these steps:

  1. In "My Content", select the video you would like to edit
  2. Click the blue "Edit" button at the top of the video
  3. Click on the "Question" button at the top-right of the editing page (you will see it turns green once you click it)
  4. A new question button will appear at the timeline of the video. Click to add a new question
  5. Choose what kind of question/comment you would like to insert by selecting: Open Ended Question, Multiple Choice Question, or Comment.
  6. Select the formula button (fx) above the text area and a pop-up will open
  7. Use the math expression buttons to insert your formula
  8. Press "OK". Now you can continue editing the question!
