Can I embed formulas, images, links, or pdf's, to my questions and comments?

A great way to enhance your questions and comments is by adding pictures, websites, documents, and even formulas to your video-lesson! To enhance your questions and comments, click on the "Quizzes" icon on far right after you've trimmed your video.

You can do this by clicking on the corresponding icon when adding a question or comment. When adding a question, you can also:

  1. Embed links
  2. Insert images
  3. Make formulas
  4. Add rich text

Embed Links

You can include a link to another website like Google Drive or a relevant article. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Add a new question by clicking at the time-stamp that you want the question to appear
  2. Choose whether you want to add an open ended question, multiple choice question or comment
  3. Above the typing area, click the “link” icon
  4. Next, type/paste in the URL for the website you want to share, and what text you want to be shown
  5. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment

Great, now you can embed a link in your question/comment to enhance the material.

Insert Images

You can insert a picture in a question or comment by uploading it from your computer or using a website URL. To do this, here are the steps:

  1. Above the typing area of your question or comment, click the “image” icon
  2. You can choose whether you upload a picture from your computer or type/paste in a URL
  3. Next, you can choose the title and size of the picture
  4. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment

Yay, now you can add pictures to further engage your students!

Make Formulas

You can make a formula in a question or comment using the CodeCogs equation editor. To embed a formula, follow these steps:

  1. Above the typing area of your question or comment, click the “fx” icon
  2. Use the math symbol buttons to type your formula
  3. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment

Awesome, now you can embed formulas, ideal for math lessons!

Add Rich Text

You can add rich text to a question or comment: bold, underline, italicize. This is a great way to emphasize certain parts of the text. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Above the typing area of your question or comment, click to add bold, italics, or underline
  2. Type what you want in that format
  3. Click the corresponding icon again to reset to normal text.

Now you can add rich text!
