How do I embed formulas, images, links or PDFs in questions and comments?

A great way to enhance your questions and comments is by adding pictures, links, documents and even formulas to your video lesson! To enhance your questions and comments, click on the "Quizzes" icon on the far right after you've cropped your video.

You can do this by clicking on the corresponding icon when adding a question or comment. When adding a question, you can also:

  1. Embed links
  2. Insert images
  3. Create formulas
  4. Add rich text 

Embed links

You can include a link to another website like Google Drive or to a relevant article. To do so, follow these steps: 

  1. Add a new question by clicking on the timestamp where you want the question to appear.
  2. Choose whether you want to add an open-ended question, multiple-choice question or comment.
  3. Above the text field, click the link icon.
  4. Next, type or paste the URL for the website you want to share and the text you want to be shown.
  5. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment.

Insert images

To insert a picture into a question or comment by uploading it from your computer or using a website URL, follow these steps:

  1. Above the text field for your question or comment, click the image icon.
  2. You can choose to upload a picture from your computer or type or paste in a URL.

  3. Next, you can choose the title and size of the picture.

  4. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment.

Make formulas

You can add a formula to a question or comment using the CodeCogs equation editor. To embed a formula, follow these steps:

  1. Above the text field for your question or comment, click the “fx” icon.
  2. Click on the math symbols you need to create your formula.
  3. Click “OK” and you’ll be returned to editing the question/comment.

Add rich text

To add rich text to a question (bold, underlined or italicized), follow these steps:

  1. Above the text field for your question or comment, click the Bor U to add the rich text of your choice.

  2. When you're finished typing, click the same icon to go back to normal text.
