  • I can't access assignment. I need or I don't have a class code.

A class code is the key to accessing your teacher's class and assignments. Please select the case that relates to your issue:

If you are not having issues with accessing EDpuzzle, but your video is not playing correctly, please visit this link

I use Google Classroom but I am asked for a class code:

When you use Google Classroom and you are not able to access an assignment, this may be due to three different situations:

1- You are not logged in with your correct google account on EDpuzzle. To make sure you are logging in with the correct account:

    1. Visit https://accounts.google.com/login
    2. Re-enter Google password for your account, the one you use for Google Classroom.
    3. Log out in EDpuzzle https://edpuzzle.com/logout
    4. Log back in by selecting the log-in button
    5. Select the student option
    6. Click the red Google button. Make sure you log in using the same email address that you use for Google Classroom.

2- You are trying to access the wrong assignment or the assignment from another class. Keep in mind that, in EDpuzzle, assignments have a different link for each class. This means that, if a teacher has assigned the same video to multiple classes, you will need to get the correct link for your class.

3- You have joined the course in Google Classroom after your teacher created the class on EDpuzzle. This means that you have not been imported to an EDpuzzle class. Could you ask your teacher to import you? Ask him/her to visit this article to learn how to do so.

I am new to EDpuzzle and I can't access my assignment

To complete your first assignment in EDpuzzle you need to create an account, click this link and learn how to do so. If you already have an EDpuzzle account and it is your first time completing an assignment please follow this steps:
    1. Make sure you are logged in with the same account you created, especially if you joined the class already. To do so visit www.edpuzzle.com/logout and log back in with the same username and password you did previously. Ask your teacher if you do not remember
    2. Click the link or the embedded video your teacher has given you
    3. Press join if this is the classroom you want to join and if you haven't joined before. If you have joined, go back to point 1 and find the correct account.
    4. Complete the assignment

I already have an account and it is asking me to join a class or to add a class code

If you already have an EDpuzzle account and it is not your first time completing an assignment please follow this steps:
    1. Make sure you are logged in with the same account you created. To do so visit www.edpuzzle.com/logout and log back in with the same username and password you did previously. Ask your teacher if you do not remember
    2. Click the link or the embedded video your teacher has given you
    3. If you are still prompted with the "Join" message, go back to point 1 and find the correct account.
    4. Once you find the correct account you will be able to complete the assignment without re-joining a class

I don't remember my class code

If this is your first time in EDpuzzle or you are asked for a class code that you do not have or you don't remember, please follow these steps:
    1. Make sure that you don't use Google Classroom at your school.
    2. If you don't have an account, please register. Otherwise, login with the same account you created. To do so visit www.edpuzzle.com/logout and log back in with the same username and password you did previously
    3. If your teacher has shared a link or an embedded video. Click it and press "Join" once the pop-up appears
    4. If you don't have any. Ask your teacher or another classmate for the code. Let them know that they will be able to find it:
      • Teachers: By pressing the "Invite more students" button at the top right of the class
      • Classmates: At the "My Classes" page, when choosing the correct class. At the top right of the page
  • Log out

To logout from EDpuzzle, simply click on the arrow at the top right part of the browser (image below), or visit www.edpuzzle.com/logout.
